Thanks for pointing that out! I literally do work in political advocacy because I believe in doing everything I can at every level. This last November I was part of a small team which successful in passing a statewide ballot measure which expanded vital mental healthcare access for hundreds of thousands of Americans. So I eat local, vegan, buy used when I can, work in advocacy, coordinate community wide politics actions, and also volunteer as much as I can on a local farm sanctuary and also for some local ailing salmon runs. I can’t and won’t fix everything myself, but I have to do my part, and be unrelenting in doing so. If enough people do, maybe just maybe I won’t die in a firestorm or flood or live to see resource wars. I’m fucking exhausted but I believe in this small blue planet, and the earthlings on it.
