Humiliated in front of customers

Which store do you work at? I also work at one in the wide bay (franchisee owned) and we deal with the exact same. It is insane how disgusting they treat their employees. One shift, the manager told me to run counter but then asked me to do a lap of dining room to check everything. By the time i had come back in he was in a bad mood (severe anger issues) and started getting angry at me for these receipts someone had lost (we serve orders off and go by receipts to keep good results) and i explained that i hadn't been there because he asked me to do dining room instead. He started yelling at me after that saying 'do your fucking job woman, find the fucking receipts you lost and fix this shit up' and honestly i politely said stop being rude to me. He said 'i wouldnt have to if you knew how to do your fucking job properly' (i have been crew for 3 years, i run manager shifts, pretty sure i know what im doing) and so i said again stop being rude and he continued to yell and i said it 3 times before i just said shut up. And he would yell again and i would just say shut up without raising my voice. This all happened in front of customers who just started blankly while an adult male manager was screaming at a 17 year old girl. I was in cafe later crying while doing dishes and he came in with a warning sheet and said 'don't ever fucking talk to me like that again, it's fucking ridiculous. Sign this' and as he was walking away i said im not going to sign that, i didnt do anything wrong? And so he said 'clock off and get the fuck out of my store.' I left crying and texted the store manager asking her to speak with him about his anger problems. The next time i came to work she had a warning sheet written up and told me i didnt have the right to 'just leave' (despite him telling me to leave and me not even getting paid for that shift) and that the other 2 managers there said the only thing they heard was me yelling at him (which could not be true because i never raised my voice). I understand completely how you must have felt. There has to be laws against treating people like fucking dirt!
