Humor: JL STILL TOO DARK!

People like to be led in a line. It's easier that way.

I'm not saying these are perfect films (bvs theatrical was trash, UC was good imo) and idc if you don't like them but this idea that BvS was rushing the franchise... my first thoughts out of MoS was how Batman or Lex were going to be made the next antagonists in one order or another. The destruction everyone complained about made it incredibly obvious. People really wanted a whole ass 2 more Superman films and a Batman film before any sort of Batman vs Superman talk. How long do these people want to wait for? You can't just find another Ben Affleck laying around or anyone has handsome as Cavill to portray Supes. It had to be now.

Truth is people want a mainstream product before you create niche market material. I love some of Marvel's stuff but some of their other films really do rely purely on humor and safe story telling for a reason: everyone laughs and you create a small enough story scope that doesn't get in the way of the bigger picture. Funnily enough I think Wonder Woman was/is trash for that same reason.
