Hunter Maats. Sam Harris. IQ

Overall, Hunter feels that Sam is a terrible representation of science because he feels Sam does not change his mind in light of "new evidence". In reality it's more like evidence that Hunter agrees with. Hunter also believes in multi-level selection, which argues that religion has been selected for. This theory is generally accepted and is a valid criticism of anti-theists. That being said, Sam's views on religion are completely independent of how religion evolved over time through culture. Dawkins, however, does explain religion using the "moth to flame" analogy, which isn't generally accepted anymore. Sam has responded to these criticisms in the past, specifically to David Sloan Wilson, who is a main player in multi-level selection.

Here is an article titled "Racists Believe Race Matters In Human Intelligence. Scientists Don’t." Hunter uses this common tactic of labeling anyone he disagrees with as racists or not a "real" scientist. He is smart but he is in an echo-chamber with his podcast group. Bryan Callen can't really challenge him, and when others do he just accuses them of not reading the books that formed his world-view.
