No, it really just depends on what survivor you’re using, your skill level and the hunters skill level. If you come across a hunter who knows what they’re doing, then yeah, it’ll seem like they’re too powerful. However, I was once able to kite a hunter as an injured Mind’s Eye for nearly the whole game, despite her being weak and slow.

Some hunters may have frustrating abilities, but it takes skill to use them. I’ve trialed as the Bloody Queen and could not, for the life of me, figure out how to use her properly lol. The hunters you come across just might be good at using that particular hunter. With that being said, you should find a few survivors that you’re really good at using or has a skill that you like. Then, keep practicing with them to improve your skills. Don’t forget to pallet strike either, that slows down hunters when in pursuit.
