The hunters have too many ways of tracking the monster, and it's unfun

I will freely admit that against real, true coordination, I am utter garbage, as the hunters can cover ground more effectively and that feels like it cuts off what little space there is for me to operate. I've stated before in these comments that I'm more of a "lurk and hide" player than a straight up "smashy smash" brawler, although I will say that I am not a "Stage 3 is the only viable fight time" player. I can and have won on Stage 2 with with more monsters than I've even gotten to Stage 3 with. There was one instance where I killed an entire team of hunters as a level 1 Goliath, but that was not because I was good. That was because they were basically blind deaf-mutes with no thumbs.

I think your advice is valid and solid, but the impact that tracking mechanics have on the game right now, to me, feels overtuned in the direction of the hunters. I'm not even saying that I feel I'm losing, necessarily, on every one of these instances. In fact, I have had several wins pulled out because the hunters annoyed me into killing them. It was more the notion that, as I ate my third meal in a row with carrion birds attracted to it, and then found myself outlined in yellow by another Gobi or tagged by a UAV, I had to put up with another attempt on my life.

When bad hunters catch you, there's a lot of running around and wasted time because we both know I'm just going to down the trapper and run from you. If good hunters catch you, it's a 6 minute match because they're going to kill you before you become a threat. It feels more like...like I don't get spotted out because I played poorly, or they played clearly better, but because a goddamn bird flew over here, goddamn fucking birds why can't I just eat the birds.
