Husband (30M) had unprotected sex with a stripper

Law student outside of the states. I don’t know how helpful this will be but legally, you must indeed need a “solid” reason for divorce. These reasons are determined by the state. The reasons you stated would probably not hold up in court. If you’re divorcing for a reason that’s not determined by the state, your attorney would advice you to settle on a reason that’s identified by the state as a ground for divorce. Grounds for divorce aren’t all encompassing. Some examples are; malicious desertion, impotency, adultery etc. So if divorce is a mutual agreement, both side would often agree to settle on one of these reasons for the divorce to run smoothly.

In places that have irreconcilable differences as a ground to divorce, the process can be a bit easier.
