Husband (35M) wants me (35F) to sign a postnup, and I feel the trust in our marriage has gone out of the window.

I personally don't like prenups because that just takes away the trust in marriage which sooner or later turns into bitterness leading to the end of marriage on bad terms.

In my country, they're basically standard (together with marriage contracts in general). I trust my SO fully, however, if something happens, we are both protected.

He then told me that he wants me to sign a postnup so that he and his parents can go forward with a mid 8 figure real estate deal. It kind of stung when I heard this from his mouth, because he simply assumed I might be a danger. He then went on to say that I should get a lawyer asap to go through the postnup agreement.

You need your own lawyer....
