Hypo - study for the bar in only 3 days?

Not saying this would ever work, but I suppose my suggestion would be to spend Fri, Sat, and Sun going hard on MBEs since that's 50% of your score. You have no time for memorization, so I would just dive head first into doing MBE practice questions and then taking time to read over the explanations for every single question (regardless of whether or not you got the answer right). When I say read over the explanations, I mean IN DEPTH. You should only be spending 1 hour on answering the questions and 2 hours devoted to reviewing them. Start out by doing single topic practice tests, taking it topic by topic, and then complete and review one final mixed MBE practice test on Sunday evening. Hopefully, by the end of that, you'll have a general understanding the most basic rules for the MBE topics. Then I would advise spending a 4th day (Monday morning) doing a brief review of sample answers to past MEE questions and a very brief overview of the 4 common MPT formats. My sample schedule is based on Emanuel's Strategies & Tactics for the MBE (6th Edition) because it's a universal resource:

  • Friday
    • Spend 3 hours completing and reviewing Torts MBE questions 1-71 from Emanuel’s textbook
    • Spend 3 hours completeing and reviewing Property MBE questions 1-55 from Emanuel’s textbook
    • Spend 3 hours completing and reviewing Con Law MBE questions 1-52 from Emanuel’s textbook
  • Saturday
    • Spend 3 hours completing and reviewing Evidence MBE questions 1-58 from Emanuel’s textbook
    • Spend 3 hours completeing and reviewing Crim Law/Pro MBE questions 1-66 from Emanuel’s textbook
    • Spend 3 hours completing and reviewing Contracts MBE questions 1-53 from Emanuel’s textbook
  • Sunday
    • Spend 3 hours completing and reviewing Civ Pro MBE questions 1-40 from Emanuel’s textbook
    • Spend 6 hours completeing and reviewing NCBE Official MBE Exam #4 (100 questions) from Emanuel’s textbook
  • Monday
    • Spend 4 hours reviewing sample questions and answers to past MEE questions (2 per topic). For the MEE-only topics, take note of the rules that appear the most and try to memorize one or two rules per MEE topic so you can regurgitate those 1-2 rules if need be on the exam.
    • Spend 2 hours reviewing and memorizing the basic formats for the 4 most common types of MPT questions (objective memo, persuasive brief, demand letter, opinion letter) using this JD advising guideline: https://www.jdadvising.com/mpt-formats-attack-outlines-type-mpt/
    • Spend 1 hour coming to terms with the fact that it is extremely likely that you will fail, but also remember that anything can happen and give it your best shot regardless.

If you don't have Emanuel's strategies and tactics, just do 50-60 questions per topic using questions provided by your bar prep course, and then a 100 question mixed-set using your bar prep course. By the end of this, you'll have completed and reviewed somewhere between 450-500 MBE questions in depth (which is significantly better than doing 1000 MBE questions and skimming through the explanations).
