Oprah wasn’t always rich, she’s always been black.

Being rich doesn’t make you immune to racism.

Recognizing that the same biases that existed when you were young, black and poor doesn’t make you a hypocrite now that you’re old, black and rich.

If she was talking on black struggles whilst doing nothing to help black communities then there’s an argument that she’s an entitled knob. But being a hypocrite because she’s rich? Nah.

That’s not the same as being born into extreme luxury and wealth and then being so tone deaf that you preach austerity in front of a golden piano. Meanwhile you’re trying to keep your finances hidden, finance derived from the tax payers in your country. Many of whom can’t afford rent and a takeaway in the same week never mind a fucking golden piano.
