I think I have cracked the ending of Attack on Titan.

Could just be me, but I just don't like what the rumbling represents for the themes of the story. Is the only solution to stop the cycle of hatred is to commit genocide? I feel as if it shouldn't be an ultimatum where if you don't commit genocide Paradis is attacked and if you do then there's finally "peace." Sure it would be rough to ease tensions and fix relations between Eldians and Marley but military leaders and people have already stated that if they were given a second opportunity, they would amend their sins and do the right thing. I doubt their first instinct would be to launch an attack since many Marleyans realize the rumbling is a byproduct of their own actions. That's why I'm not really supportive of Eren killing his friends and the world for peace. I really like your theory!
