I think I have diabetes but no health insurance.

There’s “fasting” when you haven’t eaten for a couple of hours, and there’s post-prandial, which means “after eating”

A normal fasting blood sugar is under 100. A diabetic fasting blood sugar would say over 120 or so.

A normal post-prandial blood sugar (2 hours after eating) would be 120 or less, while over 140 is not good; and over 180 is certainly diabetic.

If you are in the 200+ range — you need to see a doctor soon. Certainly if you are in the 300, 400 or higher range, you need to consider going to ER.

Any legit reading of “high”’level of ketones is not desirable, and could mean you are entering ketoacidosis. Meaning your blood pH is becoming dangerously acidic, and your body is becoming dehydrated. If you are genuinely peeing a lot, and feeling lethargic, and moody and confused they’re all potential signs of diabetes. If you feel nauseated or throw up, if you are breathing funny — go straight to the ER.
