I35 was having a day today.

I am sorry for whoever's getting late for work and getting written up. Take a screen shot of red areas via live traffic reports and submit it to your HR department.

I lived the nightmare of commuting to Austin daily for 3 years when I moved out west. By the 4th year I called it quits. Because traffic was no longer just rush-hour schedule, it became whenever or all day on many many occasions and frequently and consistently just fkin shittier. Thanks to California, Michigan, New York, Washington, you guys raided our peaceful little towns, which is fine. But here's a message.

Dear transplants and newcomers: Don't mess with Texas.

Don't honk your stupid horns at people as if you're on a superior mission and these people are just in your way.

They are not in your way, they are the reason your broke ass came to Texas to make some money, okay don't cry not broke but you're pocketing most of your paycheck. Some of you sold your million dollar slums in California and are living well here. You are all welcome but, do not honk at someone then decide that they deserve to get cut off.

Don't mess with Texas.

Do not be rude to Austin Police either, they train more than any police in the nation and are always outnumbered in austin. They are a peace keeping force and are needed more than your automatic-shifter-only driving n honking ass.
