That’s a good question.

I do hear a little although it’s very garbled (if you check one of the answers you’ll get a good explanation). When I think deeply about something, I used to not think in sound, or replay things in my memory with sound. Now that I have a cochear implant which I got in my mid twenties, I hear a little better, and sometimes when I remember things, I hear sounds in my memories. I even dream in sound once in a while which is cool.
