IamA Paramedic with Magen David Adom, Israel’s ambulance, blood-services, and disaster-relief organization. I just returned from our mission in Nepal treating injured civilians and Israelis. AMA!

Push the red button. I don't care. I won't shut up because you threaten to report me to the mods.

You should reconsider your working assumption that everyone you disagree with on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a paid Israeli shill. You sound like a conspiracy theorist, claiming that everyone who doesn't think that the government did 9/11 is paid by the government to do so. Just like this topic is close to your heart, so it is to mine, only we have differing opinions. I have never heard of someone arguing against Israel being called a Palestinian shill. Pro-Palestinians never get asked if spreading terrorist propaganda for Hamas is a lucrative job. Is it just so unbelievable that someone would disagree with your opinion?

You came to bash Israel on an AMA of a paramedic sent by it to a disaster-stricken zone to help the injured. If Israel does something good, it's obviously a PR stunt. Other countries are rarely approached with this level of cynicism. If Sweden sent humanitarian aid to Nepal (maybe they did, maybe they didn't - I'm not sure, and it's besides the point), would your first thought upon hearing that be "Damn, those fucking Swedes are pulling another PR stunt"? When Israel does something which is unquestionably, undeniably good, the first thing you do is try to find some sinister motive behind sending humanitarian aid to disaster zones and then bash it about the Palestinians. You're like a dog, trained to bring up anti-Israel talking points when the country's name is mentioned. I obviously have no right to tell you what to say when, but I personally believe that if a country sends humanitarian aid, the appropriate response is to thank it, not to use it as an opportunity to criticise them some more. A country sends humanitarian aid, and you jump on that to criticise it. If the PA sent humanitarian aid to Nepal, would the first thing you thought of be the buses blown up in Tel Aviv, murdering dozens at a time, during the second intifada? I'm not expecting you to answer me, but think about this - could the fact that you criticise Israel for something as innocent and well-meaning as sending humanitarian aid be an indicator of some deeper bias that you hold against Israel? This is a small, specific example of bias which I believe extends to other issues, where it is harder to prove, such as Israel's actions during wars or its' policies.

Before you go demanding any apologies or saying you'll call mommy, you should apologize for saying that I'm astroturfing. Sounds fair?
