Is ibuprofen not an antipyretic??

Evaporative cooling is indeed more effective than ice / ice packs, and should be readily available in a hospital setting. (Not that you need me to concur. I'm prefacing with this so that it's clear that the comparative data I'm adding isn't to contradict you, but to add a more complete, data backed comparison - including other methods).
