It's kinda weird and very sad. Even knowing it was heavily delayed, I kept my excitement going, but now that Iceborne is out and all the console players have it, I have a good idea of what to expect and what everything looks like and all the new monsters (mostly my fault mind you, I coulda stayed away from this sub, but can you blame me?). My enthusiasm has kinda... dropped hard.

The meh weapon designs, the monster roster feels like mostly variants and sub-species. It's like that spark of insane hype has been dying more and more for me. I can't say for sure if it'll rekindle in January, but I'm hopeful it will. Iceborne better be good and it better be worth this wait.
