Mature Cricket Tweets

Mods need to do something about these iceland cricket tweets. It is such an easy karma grab. They make a tweet, you take a screenshot and you post it. Doesn't matter what the content of the tweet is the kids will bring it to the top like it is the funniest and most insightful shit ever. For those who are in love with iceland cricket, it doesn't really exist. It is just a bunch of shitlords who are enjoying cricket on your dime. Iceland cricket has no official status with anybody in the world. Not with ICC, not with Iceland orgs as far as I know, not even on twitter lol.

While other actual cricket boards try to act responsible and mature tweets they are making edgy tweets all the time and using the twitter followers they gain due to that as validation for their strategy. One of their most recent tweets literally says something about gaining more twitter followers than Fiji. 13k twitter followers don't make you special. There are lot of trolls on twitter with 100k followers. If you act like an official organization but tweet like edgelords the gullible masses will follow you but the ruse is not going to last long.

It is such a pity that the twitter account gets so much visibility. The guy who is actually behind the account wouldn't get 5 retweets if he used his own account to tweet those lame ass jokes. Because they are not funny. It is officiousness of the account that gives it a novelty factor resulting in some notoriety. You see no other cricket board indulges in such infantile behavior. Now Iceland cricket board is not really a cricket board but in the minds of the kids on this subreddit and elsewhere it is one.
