Iceland has recently proposed a ban on circumcision. How would you feel about this in your own country?

Yes, I know there's a lot out there regarding circumcision. But keep in mind it's actually useful and potentially life-saving in some countries.

Male circumcision can significantly reduce risks of transmission of HIV. It's so effective that global and public health efforts promote male circumcision, especially to populations of males who are dating women with HIV.

In certain countries, especially where new cases are concentrated in 13-24 year olds, I can definitely see that a parent's decision to circumcise their child would be justified.

For some people, it's a different issue than freedom to choose later in life, religious expression, etc.
