I'd rather not have psychopath Chris Kyle stare through his lens at me in this subreddit. Thanks.

Disney/ ESPN is a corporation trying to make money. Their actions can logically be explained from that.

Me, I have to contend with my own parents talking about how great American Sniper was. It makes me ill. They are also watchers of Homeland.

I watched 24: live another day recently. I found myself laughing hysterically quite frequently. So many ridiculous plot holes and not so subtle propaganda. Merely for comedic purposes and frequent shoot outs, it's mind-numbing entertainment.

The plot actually had the potential to be semi interesting; people are protesting drone strikes and a woman whose husband was murdered by a drone strike is able to hack US drones and set them towards London. Of course the day is saved at the last moment.

The anti drone argument is undermined by a president who says the attacks are "precise" and other such nonsense that real political hacks have used. Anti drone sentiment is not explored at all. The programming is fear based, meant to put yet another reason for secret expansive government agents into play. Now we have to worry about hacked drones!

Kiefer Sutherland still features in alcohol ads, despite a history of alcohol issues/ DUIs.

Jeremy Scahill has led the charge in investigating drone strikes with books like Dirty Wars. The al-Majullah massacre I believe could be the basis for the plot of 24 live another day, which according to my 2 minutes of wikipedia research, has been denied as being a US strike, which is a joke. No one has heard of this event, and I believe that very few people care to consider what the impact of "death panels" and hellfire missiles raining down from the sky on destitute desert muslim nations may have when they are eating their big macs and super sized cokes with EBT cards.

I'm confident that this American Sniper will soon be forgotten like any other momentary news fad. It will be replaced with another war film soon enough. I find the state of America to be truly sad.
