Idaho preparing for third wave of spikes in coronavirus cases, experts say. Get your flu shit now according to KTVB

I didn't say I had the answers. I simply alluded to the question.

I will say, however, that playing into the partisan games brought on by this so called two party system is doing exactly the wrong thing.

My opinion regarding your question: we need to bridle the power of corporations and ngos when it comes to the ability to steer politics. We need individuals in power that don't answer to organizations motivated by short term profit or groups motivated by short term power.

The issue I see with this route is that you will likely eventually have a republic that decides they need someone to take the reins. This will inevitably lead to a dictatorship, which will then lead to a fracture of allegiance between the states and dissolution of economic output and cooperation. We are seeing the latter in the world today, on a fairly large scale.

The best solution, in my limited scope, would be an artificial superintelligence to take control of the stewardship of our civilisation. Logic is the only path I can see out of the decline in front of us. Clearly we don't currently have the means to implement such an idea, but one might hope we aren't too far off.

Partisanism is the antimatter of logic. You may claim that "the other side" does it more, but you are doing exactly what you claim to be against. it will continue to compound upon itself if left to the route you preach. What good can come of that??
