The idea of not 'snitching' is stupid and is what keeps communities stuck in a cycle of crime

This comment sti doesn't say what accountability the dealer has. He hasn't hurt anyone with his actions

If you you lie down with dogs, you shouldn't be surprised when you end up with fleas. I have no beef with dealing soft drugs but when you make a living commiting crime you shouldn't be surprised when someone snitches to save their own skin.

You know what isn't alway a felony? Having possession. So instead of facing the music for your fuckup and getting a misdemeanor you think its better to snitch on the dude who sold you the stuff?

That's largely not true possessing drugs is a felony outside of marijuana is normally a felony.

It's not like people need drugs and noone forced to to buy it so why would you throw them under the bus for helping you out?

What I think really doesn't matter and for better or worse in the real world people aren't going to take criminal convictions if they can help it. People don't need to sell drugs either which is why people are often happy to throw them under the bus.

Do you have any stats on that? Or just making shit up?

Federal drug report can be easily found here, only 16 percent of prisoners are there for drugs that aren't coke, meth, or heroin. According to the sentencing commission the average marijuana defendant had between 60 and 80 kilograms of weed based on their guidelines. Due to plea deals the amount they dealing was much higher anyway. I realize this is federal data but most states due something similar and if you actually look at the data you will normally find the same story.

Up until weed started being legal in states if you had trace amounts of weed it was automatically like 12 month probation, if you have more than an Oz its a felony and jail time most likely, if you have a lb(when I would consider you a real weed dealer) its a felony in almost every state.

Just because something is a felony doesn't mean people regularly goes to prisons over it. The majority of felons in America have never been sentenced to prison. Due to a wide variety of factors just because something is a felony doesn't mean it gets enforced as such. Shoplifting can be enforced as a felony in my state but it viturally never is, used to be the same with a lot of marijuana law.

Tbh you don't really seem to know what you're talking about.

I get that feeling about you if you actually think small time pot dealers routeinly go to prison.
