I identify as a trans woman. Not a woman, but a trans woman. Is this internalized transphobia or do I just experience being trans in a slightly different way?

Uzi_queen, I believe you should identify yourself as what you feel is right for you. Its complex as people identify in different ways, in my opinion its personal to you and how you feel comfortable, how you feel as the real you. No one can define who you are you just need to find that yourself and who you are. In my opinion you don’t need to define yourself, just get to a place where you are happy and you are being your best self! I’m in a weird situation myself, off topic but I somehow ended up on this thread looking for advice... I identify as hetro, I’m a guy who mainly is into women but I’m also very attracted and have been with trans women, I’m here to get advice because its not a fetish to me they are just women just the same. Anyway my question is, if its okay to ask where can I meet (trans) women, I want to address these feelings further but I have no idea how or where to meet them... I recently had been in Brazil for 3 months where the culture is very open and you can meet anyone but coming back I have no idea.

Anyway I’m a bit lost, would appreciate anyones advice haha

To finish I would reiterate again Uzi_queen to me its not transphobia its just your journey, I don’t have personal experience but I can imagine being trans you can be who you are don’t be defined by the norm!
