Idiot Mercedes driver has his ass handed to him by a cyclist & the police

When I hear reckless driving, I think someone who's gone too fast or careless, whereas it seems like this driver was going slow and was aware of his surroundings.

I guess he wasn't supposed to drive there, but are people really so absolute about traffic law? I mean, do you also think people should have to sit waiting at red lights, when they can see there's no other cars on the road?

It looks to me like the driver wanted to turn right. There was a queue to turn left, but nobody in the other lane. So he figured he'd just drive around them. Objectively what he was trying to do makes sense to me.

And maybe it's different in the UK, but driving on the wrong side of the road is very common if you're just doing it for a second to get around something. It's not like he was going his whole way to work on the wrong side, he was just driving like two cars' length to get across a way.
