Idk if you guys have seen this or not but i tell you my jaw dropped. by [ Mazu ] on Twitter.

Ok imagination time! Everything is just me letting my imagination run wild but I hope it is entertaining enough

I actually like the implication of the line "Protect Watson". As a timetraveller Ame shouldn't be so weak as to need to be protected. But their opponent this time is their loved one Ina! Myth's goal is not just to win the fight but to get Ina back. Things could go wrong where Ina dies or she never regains her sanity, hence Ame is needed to be at full strength to turn back time...but what if Ame's job is something else?

Whatever it was the caused Ina to become like this has to be at least equally as powerful than the Ancient Ones or it was the Ancient Ones who have lost control and Ina was affected as a result. The Manipulator maybe? Assuming it i any of the aforementioned scenarios, then we cannot assume that Ame can simply turn back time.

Instead, what if Ame's job is to make a journey to contact the Council? We know she has met them because it was Kronii who lent Ame the watch. The Council members (and maybe IRyS) are nore powerful beings than Myth (remember that Calli is an apprentice of Death and I personally don't buy the idea that Ame is as strong as the one who gave her the watch) and are more likely to challenge gods.

Damn, just imagine the worst-case scenario where Myth makes a massive mistake during the fight and lose (the fight or...Ina). Hearthbroken and in tears, Ame makes her desperate escape to venture into some lost ruins or dungeon to something like an Altar where she can contact the Council. Here, it depends on Ame's character whether she pleads the gurdians to help her or she makes some badass negotiations that impresses the Council.

Kronii, ever the benevolent ruler, sees the one timeline where Ame gets the ending she wishes for and gives Ame the opportunity to take it.
