With my high school education, I will try to explain this as best I can. Take it with a grain of salt.

Genetics are weird. Short people date tall people, and vice versa, and the child could either inherit their height from their parents, a previous generation, or it could be totally random.

Not to mention factors such as childhood nutrition and development which will affect height later in life, not to mention that height averages change depending on where you are. People in China are on average shorter than Americans, so on and so forth.

I'd like to add that's a pretty unhealthy view to have of women, women have preferences (like men do) and if you're feeling down about your height, remember that there's someone for everyone, and directing your dating frustrations outwards (specifically at women for not dating you) is childish and will only hurt your chances.
