We desperately need a culture change in America. The fact we have the idea drilled into our head from a young age that were the greatest country ever because "freedom". We're told That other countries are jealous that we have so much freedom and want to take it away because they're jealous, so it creates a superiority/victim belief, we think America has "haters" . It creates a childish mindset that our freedom makes it so NOBODY, not even our own government can tell us what to do. That if anyone even tries to tell us what to do, that it's almost patriotic to do the exact opposite because we're FREE to. I can't think of anything more American than dying out of spite and thinking its in the name of freedom.
