They're both promises about the game that SE has gone back on. In hindsight, they're also both not a big deal at all. So yes, I'm comparing "fucking earrings" to a GENDER of one of the races in this game. You're so angry about this that you're leaving out key words there. The race is coming to the game, but one of the genders isn't going to be available for players to play as.

We could also talk about all the other stuff that SE has "changed their minds" about over the years. Remember Free Company summoning? They decided that was a bad idea and didn't do it. All of this can easily be lumped together into "promises that SE has broken". Or, if you're not an angry person on the internet who seems to think I just killed baby jebus because I claimed he was secretly the devil so I deserve to be crucified for it, they're all things that SE has seemingly decided to change their mind on.
