If BTS didn't pave the way in America, then BOA and TVXQ didn't pave the way in Japan either

Am I immature? I just mocked your investment, that's all. Believe it or not I don't take stanning this seriously.

I know the public is not open to kpop. I was myself not. I used to harbour stereotypes against BTS myself, making fun of their makeup and what not. BTS don't have the GP, I never said they do? But their influence is still undeniable. They still managed to move millions of people. Getting a stadium full of american girls to sing in Korean is not easy. People don't have to know their every song to know who they are. Are you saying that BTS are not influential? That they didn't manage to change the perception of people like me?

Now that you talked about the fandom, why didn't the groups before BTS have such a large fandom then? Since they paved the way for them. Girl Generation appeared on David Letterman and yet never managed to amass the same fandom. Why? And why are their juniors not able to do the same? What is lacking?
