If you cant afford to pay a living wage to your workers, then your business model doesn't work and you don't deserve to be in business.

My one sticking point is that homesteading isn't really an option for most people. It takes resources, a certain kind of family (or lack thereof), and a lot of knowledge and experience that most people don't have.

But that's kind of my point. If we get rid of the exploitive corporation we still need to cooperate. We still need a society because people lack the skills required to survive without it.

So what do others in this thread mean by "self direction" of effort? Someone has to produce the food and build the houses and manufacture the drugs we need. Don't we owe them something for their efforts? How do we repay their work if we're just off doing our own thing and working on something no one else cares about?
