That's the problem. I would have expected that much. What I don't expect is when it happens when I reply within 8 seconds, not minutes. And it's alarming how often it ends up being the case.

I don't think you realize what a pain in the ass it is to buy cheap shit in this game. If I'm trying to buy a skill gem or a 1c unique, there are 50+ listed as online with buyout and the vast majority of people don't reply. I would say that I get 1 response per 5-10 messages on average. If I wait even 1 minute between messaging people, that means it took me ten minutes of my playtime just to find a fucking Auromvorax or whatever stupid shit I'm buying.

That practice is just blatant disrespect for other players' time.

You don't deserve my time any more than I deserve your time. I'm doing whatever gets me results the fastest, you should do whatever motivates you the most. But frankly, threatening to ignore me isn't super meaningful, given that there are 100+ other people selling the same 1c item you are.

Bullshit, selling common items isn't a "service", it's you trying to make money off something worthless. We all know that Auromvorax isn't worth 1c. It's just that it's such a pain in the ass for you to sell shit that 1c is the least you're willing to bother with it for.

You're not providing me a service like some kind of benevolent overlord, you're trying to turn your worthless shit into something that isn't worthless - and that's fine. By all means, go for it - but don't act like I fucking owe you 30 seconds of my time. I don't. Just like I don't get any reply at all from the vast majority of sellers, because they don't care to tell me that their item sold, or they're busy, or whatever.

The difference is, I don't go on /r/pathofexile and whine about how they wasted my time, whereas sellers in this game somehow seem to have a God complex about how Important they are and how Valuable their time is.
