Democracy has succeeded where it sprouted and grew organically. To continue the metaphor, Democracy doesn't do well as a GMO that is proudly presented to countries with histories that span multiples of the time span our great experiment. Lastly I'll say, dealing out the 'racist' card is the slight of hand some use to cover their lack of a broader understanding of the topic or a weak will to see the reality of our situation.
