If circumstances had been different, which of the main protagonists throughout the series would have made the best villain?

Let me reassess you about this whole situation.

You said "If Daryl was gonna revert back to the way he was, it would've made way more sense for him to after Merle died not when some people he knew for from a couple months to a little over a year."

I replied "It could go either way, Merle was family but he was kind of a dick to Daryl. Those other people have treated him more like a family than Merle has in probably his whole life."

You took this to heart apparently, but to me, it was just me sending out a reply as quickly as I could because I could care less. It's a forum for a sci-fi tv show.

If I really wanted to make a point, I would type out a paragraph and explain but I didn't feel the need to because I simply don't care, this post is a what if situation anyways. If it was something that actually happened on the show, I would've attempted to argue my point. But like I said, this is simply a what if situation. I'll humor you and explain my point of view anyways since you won't stop replying and calling me childish.

To be honest, I partially agree with you that Daryl probably would've done that when Merle died. But on the other hand, when Daryl left with Merle, they had that argument and Daryl said "I'm going back where I belong" and showed up in time to save Rick. This shows that he truly respects Rick and treats him as much as a family as Merle. He was willing to lay his life down and die for Rick, Michonne and Carl when they had that encounter with the Claimers. That's why I said it could go either way, because since this whole post was a hypothetical situation in the first place, hypothetically, it could've gone either way like I said.

I never claimed that I thought just because Merle was a dick to Daryl, that Daryl loved Merle less or had no love for him. You misinterpreted that and made that assumption on your own. While my comment was a short one and could've been interpreted in many ways. You are the childish one to assume I thought a specific thing based off of a small comment, I fully explained why I typed the comment but you fail to realize that people are more "complex" than that.
