If the contagion situation in China gets worse and infects millions globally, what are your plans?

One of the few advantages of a sucktastic autoimmune disorder is having a food supply. Since I have to fix most meals from scratch we own a deep freezer, pantry, etc.

Could hang out at home for a month.

I'll be right here spreading homemade marmalade on sourdough bread while other people rush the grocery stores. If the health officials quarantine the neighborhood I'll go right on making omelettes for breakfast and shepherd's pie for dinner. After a week when the fresh milk runs out I'll switch to dry milk, which isn't great but it will do.

Realistically, the public utilities are going to keep running. If they did break down the backup generator would work for about a day. Then we'd get out the Coleman stove and cook with propane. It doesn't really get dangerously cold in this climate. In the farfetched worst case scenario where the water also stops running, I break out the iodine from the home brewing supplies and treat water from the local stream.

None of this stuff was planned for doomsday prepping. I happen to enjoy camping and happen to live in an exurb near a mountain range.

More likely, I'll break open a bottle of mead this weekend and kick back as the fearmongers go nuts.
