If you could ask researchers around the world about the need for Open Access, what would you ask?

While you are going to get some folks whose work would fundamentally change without said libraries; however, I suspect you're going to also get a lot of folks who answer something like "Well, really not at all." For example, the disappearance of said libraries wouldn't impact my work in any way.

That said, I still really appreciate their existence, so I think another question might get at that. Perhaps something like How do SciHub and Library Genesis contribute to the production of knowledge in your opinion?

That's obviously too clunky, but something that gets folks to talk about why it matters whether they use it or not. Hopefully, that makes sense.
