If you could go back to school and start again what would you study in your pursuit of FIRE ? for both happiness and quality of life and monetary value?

Its one surgeon in One practice and we don't even know if he is competent surgeon or a surgeon at all, so no, we're a not done here. Office guys especially on reddit love to validate their life style with confirmation bias but its not disputable that sitting all day causes your glutes, hamstrings, and core muscle to become weak and your back to support your weight causing all sorts of posture issues, not to forget that your hormones go out of wack really easily usually causing cortisol to spike and insulin tolerance to kick in. Go to a construction site and actually look at the workers, if they are not alcoholics or drug addicts they are usually in shape and moving around, plus they have power tools, hydraulic jacks to lift things, cranes, and other mechanical assistance especially in high skill construction. Its proven fact that moving around is healthier than just sitting all day in front of the computer. I did say construction workers have occupational hazards like falling but most don't fall and those hazards are quite obvious unlike with office work, which can involve multiple sclerosis from lack of sun light. Why do you think kids are advice to play outside a bit instead of just playing video games? Which is an obvious analogy between white and blue collar work. If construction were that difficult and unhealthy we would not have millions of construction workers that can just walk into the job and do it, and usually do it for the rest of their lives. It would pay more and be in high demand. Its not in high demand because low skill construction is fairly easy, labor aside. Office work is mentally taxing, on top of stress and the fact that you need to be sitting doing repetitive computer work all the time which is full of ergonomic nuance if you take your time and actually look at all the issues involved with it, lack of sun light, poor air quality indoors, poor diets from fast food due to lack of time, eye strain, myopia from not focusing your eyes at different depth because of the constant glace at the screen, long hours, the commute, on top of usually being in debt from student loans adding to the stress, thus, its usually pays more. Nothing in life is free and one cant expect to have it easy just for going to some cookie cutter college for a few years and passing a couple of arbitrary tests. Computer work stations are taxing on the body and require an extra curricular fitness regimen most of time more rigorous than what a construction worker would need to be healthy, pain free and mobile and not retire an empty shell of a person. Most office workers I know are overweight from women to the men or frail and most construction workers are jacked and play sports after work well into their 50s.
