If you could go back in time and completely change what team you chose to be a fan of, would you?

Depends on when I know what I found out later.

Bucs owner Hugh Culverhouse was a cheap bastard that kept as much of the revenue sharing money as possible and put on as cheap of a team as he could get away with. This was before the salary cap, so nobody back then cared if a particular franchise was fucking their fans with a terrible product.

I didn't realize just how bad it was until years later when the Bucs were under new ownership. By then the Bucs were in the Dungy / Gruden era, so there was no reason to switch to another team then. But I had found out in the mid 80s just how bad the Bucs ownership was, I would have looked elsewhere and saved myself the years of rooting for a team that had 10+ straight losses for 12 straight seasons from 1983 to 1994, and no winning seasons for 14 seasons in a row from 1983 to 1996.
