Yea, show me where anyone calls it a or b. Most shows have hiatuses in them, PLL has one too. TW is the only show I have ever seen use the a/b to section them off. Officially there is an a/b for TW, there however is not for PLL. Hit up google, or the wiki page, and you won't find a/b. Nor have I seen anyone call it such on tumblr or in the subreddit. How about you instead just say that is how you refer to it? Because assuming that is how all PLL fans do it is ridiculous. Just like you saying that crap to me about Buffy, implying I wasn't a Buffy fan and then not denying that that was what you meant.
And I don't see how you mean that. I don't agree with people shitting on something and throwing hissy fits because a character isn't up to their expectations. It's not going against you having an opinion, but instead how you must voice it ever so often after you have already repeated the same thing over an over again. If someone wants to see a character be bashed they would just go on tumblr where everyone hates Scott already, or go to AO3 where the majority of fics in the Scott tag are on the back burner to Sterek fics. I disagreed too to high hell with people who tried trashing Dawn Summers from Buffy, and still do to this day along with people who trash Connor from Angel.
If you don't like a character or a show then okay, no big deal. But when it is all that is said by someone it is more then not liking them. I don't like Stiles' character in multiple ways, but I won't trash talk him because I don't care to make others feel bad about a character they like or having to defend a character they like.
I have had enough pissiness from my sister over the fact that I still watch Teen Wolf. I have to deal with my own sister, who is the one who got me into Teen Wolf, talk crap over and over again about a show I enjoy and make me basically feel like crap for even liking it because she is my big sister, she is the one I look up to. she also hates Pretty Little Liars with a passion and is one of the reasons I stopped watching it, because I can't even enjoy the show without her getting on to me and I hear enough from her over how crappy Scott is and the show.
Why should someone bother watching a show when everyone around them looks down on them for what they like? When someone takes every little thing about something they like and twists it and pushes so hard to make them hate it? I have to fight tooth and nail for the things I enjoy while others ruin it for me and say I have bad taste in shows.
I don't like Sterek or Stydia either, guess what my sister's top ships are? Guess who her favorite character is? You may see me liking Scott and defending him as ridiculous or stupid, but the characters everyone seems to love to hate are the ones I am watching the show for. I love Scott, Malia, Kira, and Parrish. I love the ships from season 4 and 5. And they are all the characters/ships my sister hates. I have to live with all of this already, the internet so far has been one of the fewest places I can actually voice my enjoyment of the show and be involved in it. My sister won't even let me watch it with her around, she will talk about how crappy every part is or stalk off to her room.
So sorry that I would like to make sure I still have some places to be able to defend what I like where I actually can defend them. Online in reddit and tumblr and RPGs is the only place I can be involved with Teen Wolf anymore.
