If you could stay in Delaware, move to a different place in Delaware or live in another State/Country easily what would you choose?

Born and raised in Wilmington. Did a 9 year stint in south Jersey (Gloucester county). Growing my family in Middletown currently.

As much as I’d like to say So Cal or someplace with better weather …. I don’t think I could leave the northeast. My personality is suited to live here and also food. The food is too good.

I’d move to Greenville, West Chester or Chadds Ford, PA if not NJ.

I really miss a lot of aspects of South Jersey. I liked being a bridge and 22 minutes away from center city, but having 3 local produce stands within 2 miles to buy fresh asparagus from. Don’t miss the taxes—however I’m learning now more than ever (after raising young kids in NJ and DE)—you get what you pay for sometimes. The park systems and schools especially. I also liked the better access to healthcare. It’s not Christiana Care or roll the dice with Bebe. I could choose from 5 different high level NICU hospitals to have a baby at within 30 min there.
