If you could tell Reddit to shut the hell up about one thing forever, what would it be?

You don't wanna hear it because you don't like to smoke. I don't like to drink, so I smoke. However, today it's super easy and almost encouraged for underage kids to get wasted.

People like me are pissed bc ... I could legally drink but I don't enjoy it and I know it's bad for me. You're gunna tell me a 20 year old kid is more entitled to a night cap than I am to a joint before bed? Most would say neither of us are. But consider this.... we both get caught: the underage kid drinking a restricted substance that is proven to be detrimental to human health would likely get a slap on the wrist. I'd have a fine, maybe get arrested, my name defamed online, and have a strike on my record all for doing something that's has never, not once, been proven to be statistically significantly worse for you than many legal drugs including caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, many Rx drugs.

All I'm saying is; I get why people bragging about being stoned would be annoying to a non-smoker ... it is. You're right. But for someone to say "meh weed is a drug and it's recreational and not important so shut up pot heads" is ignorant as fuck. Whether you like it or not, marijuana is something that needs to be talked about. There are a lot of misconceptions about it and I can assure you; it's just a plant. There definitely are rights being taken from us for the wrong reasons. It's evident you don't care, but I get it .. why should you?

If all of a sudden coffee was made illegal, lots of people would be flippin their shit. I, and lots of other tea drinkers, would give a shit. However, just because I personally don't like something doesn't mean I would try to make the blanket statement that it shouldn't be talked about if there's a legitimate reason for debate... that's just ignorance.
