If you don’t have anything constructive to say...

  1. You can skin up on it.

Honestly, I hate vinyl from an audio engineering perspective (sound vs other formats, deteriorates over time, etc), I hate it from a convenience perspective (it ain't convenient), yadda, yadda, yadda, yadda... But the nostalgia for us old crusties is strong and the artifact thing, while I have managed to let it go in my dotage, is a real strong draw to those who didn't live it in it's heyday. There's a reason so many of us got hooked on buying vinyl and not just listening to the radio.

Luckily for me I have control vinyl so now I can have the nostalgic inconvenience of vinyl with the robust convenience of digital files. And none of the nice artwork. I'm a fucking idiot.
