If he really was interested and cared then he would make the effort to go see you, I believe. But this is coming from someone who makes the conscious effort to not pursue women so take what I say with a light grain of salt.

But typically, if a man is interested in a woman and cares then he will want to see more of her. For a man, that usually means initiating a lot of the things that happen and trying to meet up in real life.

This guy seems to be doing the opposite of that and might just be keeping you around as a backup option. Or he's oblivious as the other poster said and has no clue what he's doing when it comes to dating.

Don't linger on this for too long. There's plenty of men who will actively pursue you as you want to be pursued and will be a far better match than this man.
