If games are 70 bucks now, Sony should really change their refund policy. Get with the times.

For those who have their accounts hacked:

1-Close to zero help.

2-If the hacker purchases multiple things on your account for 100's of dollars, they will NOT refund you even if you have proof of innocence.

3-If you do a charge back because you don't have enough money to pay rent, pay your groceries or you are just barely making ends meet, THEY BAN your account. So every digital game you purchased legally is gone, your themes, avatars, movies, etc. GONE.

4-It happened to an acquaintance of mine and he was stuck to pay 400$ on a minimum wage salary.

On the issue of refunds outside of hacking:

If the game doesn't work, they will largely state company policy that there are no refunds and you agreed to it.

But what about consumer protections law of the state/country etc you live in?

There was an uproar for Cyberpunk to force Sony's hand to offer a refund.
