Season one and two were so good. Im a fan of good cinematography and not shit scripting, almost every episode of the first two seasons had a big screen feel to them. Every character was meaningful and had a larger perceived depth beyond what we were shown. I’m not even gonna talk about the Governor and Alpha, god... Negan was amazing until all the plot armour.

Dont get me wrong there were some amazing story arcs like the search for Maggie by Glenn and the amazing family like struggle when they were all just walking ahead of a herd and found themselves in a barn on a stormy night. This was one of the last time I cared about the characters. Now its a juggling act of contracts with “lets give these new actors/director a shot at this” or “OMG IS HE DEAD?” bullshit cheap cliffhangers, its just amazing for tv general public but the magic is totally gone for me
