If you had to split up the history of modded Minecraft into different eras or ages, what would they be and why?

The Age of Myth - beta, back when forge was new, not everything used it, BTW was a forge mod, TC was effectively just a tech mod, and there were eleventybillion types of energy, most people here probably never experienced it.

The First Golden Age - 1.2.5, the time when FTB really took off, an age of compatibility and when everyone was pushing the boundaries of what was possible, I mean, we had freaking BASIC compilers for christs sake!

The Age of Ruin - 1.4.5, so named not because it was bad, but because of the aftereffects, it was after this that xycraft, RP2, and EE vanished

The Age of Renewal - 1.6.4, the last age where IC2 was truly relevant, and the rise of TE as the core of tech worlds, and Botania and TC as the core of magic worlds

The Second Golden Age - 1.7.10, by far the longest lasting age, and the biggest and most succesful, hell, it's still actively going on!

The Age of Art and Magic - 1.8, basically no tech mods existed, it was pretty much TC, Intangible, Blood Magic, and Botania Unofficial leading the charge, with Chisel and Bits giving us design power like we've never seen before

The Current Age - 1.10, time will tell whether or not this will be a third golden age, or a second age of renewal, TE has vanished, and the future of energy systems is uncertain, but the era is young
