If it's incredibly difficult for someone to be vegan, should they still be vegan?

Because I’ve not always been a vegan. It’s likely that you and most people here have not been either. I get what’s going on inside most people’s heads because that’s exactly how I was too. New vegans often have quite extreme opinions about these issues, that was me as well years ago.

The fact is that most people are not vegan. There’s barely any vegans among my family and friends, but they are still some of the most important people in my life. I would be lying if I said that it doesn’t bother me at all when I’m the only who has the vegan option even though it’s perfectly as good as the “normal” options, but it’s really just a thing you adjust to. I don’t have the energy to always be bothered about these things, that would be just too much and I think that’s the healthiest relationship with veganism.
