Nope. Not getting on this bus.

I remember reading the statistics of how much each of us are bombarded with advertisements; the figures are astronomical. I can't pump gas now without watching an ad, I can't take a piss in a restaurant without reading an ad - they have bills plastered inside of airplanes now - you can't run fast enough to get away. I reached terminal burnout a few years ago and my television has been cold since. I will use any form of technology that stands between me and the unending barrage and I would question those who wouldn't. It is an audible vote against a very negative and unsustainable trend.

I say this as a business owner fortunate enough to be considered high-wage. Anecdotally, I crash your theory.
