If I just tell myself vegans support slavery, then I won't have to consider being vegan!

It's now becoming more expensive be2its barely becoming more popular, buts it's still really in the "health food" category that mostly health-conscious people go for.

And even then, not everyone eats the same things. I very rarely ever ate rice before going vegan. Maybe a few times a year if it happened to be in a burrito. I was typically meat and vegetables for meals or pasta with veggies and meatballs before I decided I wanted to follow a vegan lifestyle. I had beans a bit more frequently, but even then it was hardly ever used.

Now of course I eat tons. I did my grocery shopping for this week's meal planning and apparently going to use 7 cups of dried rice this week for two people. Between making sushi, lentil Kung Pao on rice, and Mexican rice, I'm probably eating more this week than I would in an average year before.

So people shouldn't be surprised that others don't eat any foods at all. Especially something that's still fairly niche like quinoa which really seems to be mostly popular in certain circles rather than all around.
