If You Like _____ I Recommend ______

If you like Nujabes, I suggest:

-Emancipator

-Marcus D (works with Cise Starr and Substantial, so if you like their stuff with nujabes you'd most likely like this stuff too)

-Bop Alloy (Marcus D and Substantial side project)

-Ta-ku

-Bonobo (not necessarily like nujabes but very chill, great in concert if you get the chance to see them)

-P.SUS

-EvanAwake (youtuber, kind of deleted most of his stuff honestly so I can't necessarily help you out on this because I can't find his stuff myself but what you can find is usually pretty good. Also went by the name Bakoda for a while)

-Tokimonsta (some of her stuff is pretty good chillout stuff but some of it is no where near nujabes)

-Long Arm (the branches is one of my fav albums)

-DJ Mitsu the Beats (similar to nujabes on some songs)

-Fat Jon (worked with Nujabes for the Samurai Champloo soundtrack, he has some great tracks and doesn't get enough credit honestly)

-Hiatus (he's on spotify and has some nice relaxing tracks)

-Snakehips (a little up beat but still has some great instrumentals, not really for chilling out but still good imo)

-D33J (not very much like Nujabes but still chill and good sounding instrumentals)

-Yppah (good instrumentals, similar to bonobo in a way)

-Onra (very good instrumentals, check out chinoiseries)

-Casino Versus Japan (on spotify, fav song Marilyn Set Me Free)

-Mount Kimbie (good instrumentals)

-Chrome Sparks (instrumentals, on spotify, different kind of sound but I like it)

-Giraffage

-Nicolay (light it up and light it up remix are very good, haven't listened to him that much other than that though)

-DJ Cam Quartet (makes instrumentals with live instruments and stuff pretty cool and very good)

-IV the Polymath (some chill instrumentals)

-Madlib (shades of blue is a GREAT album, more similar to J Dilla but still amazing, could also check out Quasimoto, his side project. he has a ton of instrumentals on these things he calls "medicine shows" so if you like his stuff look into those)

-Uyama Hiroto (worked with nujabes has some stuff)

-DJ Sorama

-DJ ezasscul (idk people who like nujabes always mention him and sorama but I dont really care for them)

-There are these albums called Ghibli Jazz and Ghibli Jazz 2 that sample ghibli soundtracks and they have some really great songs on there definitely give them a listen.

-Apollo Brown (Clouds is a great album definitely check this guy out, one of my favs)

-DJ Shadow (kind of "created" instrumental hiphop some of his stuff is pretty good)

-Jazsapiens (some of their stuff is ok)

-Jenova 7

-Kenmochi Hidefumi (I like Catoblepas, thats all I've listened to personally)

-Kenchiro Nishihara (Humming jazz is pretty good)

-Kondor (people seem to like him a lot, haven't listened to much of his stuff though)

-Nanase (Piano meets Hiphop is really good, enjoyed it a lot)

-Sinitus Tempo (haven't listened to him in a while but his stuff used to be free on bandcamp, usually pretty good stuff)

-Thomas Prime

YT Channels: 1) http://www.youtube.com/user/iE4tBe4tz808 (good uploads also has a new channel i think)

2) http://www.youtube.com/user/Bob42jh (great guy, great uploads)

3) http://www.youtube.com/user/MrSuicideSheep (has some good uploads)

4) http://www.youtube.com/user/majesticcasual (majestic has multiple channels I think, but they have good uploads)

i made this list for someone a while ago.

it's not necessarily all like nujabes, just all kind of beats / hiphop stuff that I feel people who like nujabes would also possibly like. it's a decently sized list.

(ik this is formatted like shit)

DJ Shadow....some of his stuff is pretty good
