If you made 10,000 dollars everyday since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in August 2, 1776, you still wouldn’t wouldn’t have 1 billion dollars.

No, some of the things are done directly in order to get money. It's pretty well established that rich countries are keeping some world regions unstable because that's how they can exploit it better and faster.

If you know a country has no child labor laws and you know a factory uses child labor (if we know it, then a fucking multibillion dollar company knows it for sure) and you still move your production to said country, you are doing it directly. It's not a consequence, it's a direct action.

If you know that fossil fuels are a huge issue on the environment and you still push the narrative of green energy bad and invest into fossil fuels, you are intentionally destroying the environment.

If you are paying your worker at minimum wage while you rake in more money than anyone ever in human history, you are directly using humans as disposable slaves. It's your action, not a consequence of your actions.

If you know what the result of your action is and you still do it, that consequence is now your action. It's like saying that when I shoot people and kill them it's just a consequence of my action rather than me directly doing it because I didn't kill them, I just pulled the trigger.
